At Airport Show 2025, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) announced a major partnership with global security leader Smiths Detection. As part of a multi-year contract, state-of-the-art HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX scanners will be deployed across Terminals 1, 2, and 3 of Dubai International Airport (DXB).

The advanced 3D imaging and automatic object recognition system (iCMORE) significantly enhance both security and efficiency — reducing wait times while maintaining the highest safety standards.

The scanners are certified by major international aviation authorities, including the TSA (USA) and ECAC (Europe). This upgrade places DXB among the most secure and forward-thinking airports in the world.
