Dubai introduces fully digital property sales through Dubai Now app
Dubai has officially launched a fully digital real estate sale service, allowing buyers and sellers to complete transactions online 24/7 — from contract signing to title transfer — through the Dubai Now app.
A new era of real estate transactions
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) unveiled the first phase of the Digital Sale system during GITEX Global 2025, setting new standards for speed, security, and transparency in property deals.
With electronic signatures verified through UAE Pass, the entire process — from sale agreement to ownership registration — happens digitally. No physical visits, no paperwork, just seamless real estate transactions at any time, anywhere.
How the Digital Sale works
- Contract creation: The seller generates a digital sale contract and sends it to the buyer via the platform.
- Secure payment: The buyer transfers funds to the dedicated service account.
- Instant ownership: Once payment is confirmed, the ownership certificate is automatically issued in the buyer’s name.
To use the system, both parties need a valid Emirates ID and UAE Pass. Eligible properties must be freehold, mortgage-free, and owned by a single individual.
Boosting Dubai’s innovation-driven real estate market
The Digital Sale aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and Real Estate Strategy 2033, moving the emirate closer to its goal of 100% digital property services.
It reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for transparent, tech-enabled investment and simplifies real estate deals for both local and international buyers.
Invest where innovation meets opportunity
Dubai continues to lead in digital transformation — from AI-driven policing to fully online property transactions.
