Dubai’s Reputation Takes the Lead
While London is regarded as the top city globally, Dubai surpasses it in terms of reputation, according to the findings of the index. The city’s impressive reputation further cements its position on the global stage.
Dubai’s Leadership in Business and Investment
Dubai not only ranks first for reputation but also maintains strong positions in the business and investment sectors. The city has also seen a notable rise in its attractiveness for local employment (up from 16th to 8th) and remote work opportunities (up from 24th to 4th).
The emirate continues to be a hub for innovation and startups, with initiatives like the Dubai Future Foundation contributing to its top ranking for future growth potential. Additionally, Dubai’s second-place ranking for economic stability and strength, along with its third-place position for attractive personal taxation, solidify the city’s status as a prime global investment destination.
Dubai’s Success and Strategic UAE Investments
According to Andrew Campbell, Managing Director of Brand Finance Middle East, Dubai’s rise in the global city rankings is primarily driven by the UAE government’s strategic investments in infrastructure, tourism, and the business ecosystem. These efforts have significantly improved the global perception of the city and further increased its appeal to businesses and investors.
“Dubai continues to strengthen its position through active business development and infrastructure modernization. This gives the city a unique charm and makes it an important hub for international investors,” said Campbell.
