In 2025, Dubai once again secured the top spot among the world’s cleanest cities, maintaining this status for the fifth consecutive year. According to the Global Power City Index (GPCI) report by the Mori Memorial Foundation’s Institute for Urban Strategies (Japan), the city achieved a 100% satisfaction rating in cleanliness.

The implementation of the Dubai Integrated Waste Management Strategy 2041 aims to reduce waste by 18% and completely eliminate landfill disposal by 2041.

A team of over 3,200 specialists and a fleet of 855 modern vehicles ensure the daily cleaning of 2,400 km of roads, 1,419 sq. km of investment zones, 33.4 km of waterways and bays, as well as residential and industrial areas. Additionally, Dubai handles the disposal of medical and hazardous waste, furniture recycling, and the removal of abandoned vehicles.
