Retail Strategy in Three Phases

DSS 2025 will roll out across three targeted shopping phases:

  1. Summer Holiday Offers (until 17 July)

  2. Great Dubai Summer Sale (18 July – 10 August)

  3. Back to School (11 – 31 August)

Retail activations will span malls citywide, with giveaways and campaigns in venues such as Mall of the Emirates, City Walk, Dubai Festival City, Ibn Battuta Mall, The Beach JBR, and more — backed by partners like Emirates, talabat, Majid Al Futtaim, and Al Futtaim Malls.

What It Means for Investors

DSS is not only a retail festival — it’s a strategic platform to boost footfall, rental demand, and economic activity during summer months. For property investors, it translates into:

  1. Higher short-term rental occupancy

  2. Increased tenant demand in key hospitality and retail zones

  3. Additional income potential in areas with established entertainment infrastructure

Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Dubai South, JBR, and Marina are expected to benefit from increased tourist and local activity throughout the festival.

At SPI Dubai, we help investors identify high-demand zones that perform well during Dubai’s tourism-driven events.
