Emirates Celebrates Valentine’s Day with Roses, Gifts, and a Special Menu
A floral spectacle unfolded aboard Emirates, as a viral video showcased the airline’s aircraft covered in roses with a giant bouquet adorning the top. Shared on Emirates’ official Instagram page, the video was accompanied by the caption: “Our passion for travel is in full bloom. Happy Valentine’s Day from Emirates.”
But the surprises didn’t stop there. To mark Valentine’s Day, Emirates introduced a special in-flight and lounge menu available worldwide. First Class passengers were treated to the exclusive Dom Pérignon Rosé 2008, while Business Class guests enjoyed Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial. Dessert offerings included chocolate brownies and raspberry ganache tarts for First and Business Class, while Premium Economy and Economy passengers were served raspberry chocolate brownies.
In Dubai’s lounges, First Class passengers indulged in passionfruit pavlova with Chantilly cream, complemented by an exclusive selection of cocktails. Business Class guests had a choice of lemon verbena cake, strawberry and yuzu tartlets, or hibiscus, strawberry, and almond mousse, while an ice cream cart offered strawberry cheesecake ice cream and raspberry rose sorbet.
The celebration extended to 34 Emirates lounges worldwide, with location-specific treats. Narita offered heart-shaped salmon tartare, New York delighted travelers with chocolate-covered strawberries, Cape Town featured red macarons with gold leaf, and Beijing served heart-shaped red velvet cake.
Onboard entertainment embraced the romantic spirit, as the ICE system added over 60 romance films, including the newly released “We Live in Time” starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, along with classics like “The Notebook” and “10 Things I Hate About You”. For music lovers, curated Valentine’s playlists from Spotify were also available.
Beyond indulgent dining and entertainment, Emirates launched special Valentine’s promotions available until February 28. EmiratesRED shopping service offered a 10% discount on selected items when purchasing two or more, along with a $15 discount on dual fragrance purchases. Passengers could also pre-order items between 21 days and 40 hours before departure, with delivery directly to their seat.
Once again, Emirates reaffirmed its reputation for delivering a truly exceptional travel experience. From roses and champagne to gourmet desserts and romantic films, every detail was meticulously crafted to make Valentine’s Day in the skies truly unforgettable.
