No More Queues: 82 RTA Services in Dubai Now Have Zero Waiting Time
Dubai continues to enhance convenience for residents and visitors. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the successful rollout of its latest strategy, eliminating waiting times for some of the city’s most popular services.
82 Services Now Fully Digital with No Need for Office Visits
As part of the 360 Services Policy, RTA has transitioned 82 services to digital and self-service platforms. Services that once required in-person visits are now accessible online from anywhere in the world. This shift has resulted in a 96% improvement in service accessibility.
Out of these, 63 services are now completely free from the need for physical appointments. These include paying public transport fines, booking driving tests, transferring vehicle plates, and more.
Available on the Dubai Now App
Currently, around 40% of all RTA services are available through the Dubai Now app. In total, 61% of RTA services are accessible via various digital channels, ensuring even greater convenience for users.
Results: Record Customer Satisfaction
Thanks to improved accessibility and faster processing, RTA reports a 98.9% customer happiness rating. Director General Mattar Al Tayer confirmed that, in 2024, RTA collaborated with 32 partners from both public and private sectors, enhancing 71 services that previously had additional access requirements.
What’s Next?
In 2025, RTA will launch Phase III of its 360 Services Policy. This phase aims to fully develop and modernize all RTA services, further improving the customer experience and helping the authority meet its customer happiness goals.
