UAE launches major programme to train 10,000 Emirati entrepreneurs

The UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism, in collaboration with the New Economy Academy and Ignyte, the platform developed by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), has launched a new initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurship among Emirati citizens.

Programme Objective

The project aims to train 10,000 Emiratis through a series of online and offline courses designed to provide participants with practical skills for building scalable businesses — from developing business models to expanding into international markets.
This initiative is part of the national campaign “The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World”, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to strengthen the UAE’s global leadership in innovation and entrepreneurship.
